Week 6: Sidescroller puzzle
Solve the puzzle to dispel the darkness and escape from the sewers!
NOTE: This is a level design contribution post looking for feedback from YT channel @Jesus_Machina, who explains design concepts and sets weekly challenges. This time, the challenge is to design a side-scroller level that features a puzzle involving water or the classic light beams/lasers that bounce off mirrors. The advanced version of the challenge is to set the entire scene in a recognizable real-world location.

is that it? just the one level? :(
Yes, I am sorry, but as you can tell by the lack of art and accesibility (e.g. the player is a template an there's no UI nor menus) this is not a full game.
It is a level design exercise post for YT channel @Jesus_Machina, who explains design concepts and propose exercises like this one. Sorry you played it not knowing that, I will add a note in the description to be more clear.
Anyways, thank you for commenting, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Did you get stuck or found any issue? Did you find the level interesting aside it was too easy/difficult?
It is a very interesting and unique mechanic and I'd love to see more of it, though it was a bit hard to figure out the first time what I was supposed to do. Primarily because I accidentally push the shopping cart through the back wall and had to restart the game. I could also see problems arising from the cart being pushed all the way against the wall and not being able to get behind it to push. Perhaps putting the cart in front of the player instead of behind it would help.
